Extracting an MP With SHX Codec

One reason why extracting an MP is nice to do, is because you can then pull certain features that you like from an MP without having to flash the entire thing to your phone.

What you'll need:
SHX Codec
Flexparser
MP to extract. (Check the downloads section)

To start, open SHX Codec and find the MP that you're wanting to extract. Select the folder on the top right, and browse to where you saved your MP.


Once you have selected the file, select Split source SHX file.



Once it's done extracting your MP, you should have your MP split into different parts in the box. Minimize SHX Codec and open Flexparser.
 Select Open and navigate to where your MP is saved.



 You will see a few files in there now. They are the files that were split with SHX Codec.



Select the CG2.smg file and then select open.

Flexparser will begin extracting your files from the MP that you have chosen. This may take a while.

Once it's done, you can go back to the folder where your backup is saved, and you will have all the files from that Monster Pack. They will be in folders corresponding the file system of your phone.



You're done. You now not only have a backup that you can flash to your phone, but you also have a backup of all the files on your phone.
