Here is a list of things you will need:

Now you may notice that I haven't provided download links for the first 2 items on our list of software we need. This is because they are for internal Motorola use only and are considered warez. So what you do is google for the filenames I have listed next to the items inside the brackets (do not include the brackets!) and you?ll find them. You might also want to try searching for them on Limewire or Bearshare if you use those programs. I got my mini-USB cable at Office Depot for $25. You can also use the same cable that connects the PSP to the computer, they're $9 at WalMart. Also please note that you must have Windows XP to do this. Now on to the fun part!

Contents

Step 1:

Create a folder on your C:\ drive titled MotoDrivers and unarchive the Motorola_Drivers_29.rar file there.

Step 2:

Unzip pst_6.7_general.zip and run the exe file inside to install it. You may have to restart your computer once it?s installed

Step 3:

Unzip PST_6.7_patch.zip and copy these files to C:\Program File\Motorola\PST . It will prompt you and ask you if you want to overwrite the existing files, Click Yes to all

Step 4:

The program will take a second to start up. When you see the following screen, plug in your phone

Step 5:

Now Windows will begin detecting the phone. When the Found new Hardware wizard pops up select the radio button next to ?No not this time? near the bottom, then click the Next button at the bottom

Step 6:

On the next screen, select the radio button next to Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Then click the Next button at the bottom

Step 7:

Now check the ?Include this location in search? box. Then click the Browse button and select C:\MotoDrivers\P2K Drivers 2.9 (If you followed my instructions and put them there-if not, point Windows here to where you unarchived the P2k Drivers) Then click the Next button

Step 8:

It should automatically find the driver and install it for you. When it's done installing, you should get a screen like this:

Just click finish!

Step 9:

Now you need to sit a wait a second and the Found New Hardware wizard will pop up again, this time to install a different driver for your phone. Just repeat the directions above until the Found New Hardware wizard quits popping up

Step 10:

The PST Phone Programmer program is important. You must start it up and leave it running every time before you can access your phone on your computer. To make sure you are indeed connected, unzip the P2kCommander program and install it.

Step 11:

Run the P2K Commander program. Then click the drop down menu on the right and select P2k Mobile phone as shown:

You will get an error message in the lower left hand corner as shown:

Don't worry about it, it will say that every time you connect to your phone. Just wait a second while it gets all the files from your phone, then you will be able to navigate through them!

Conclusion:

This should work just as shown if you do everything correctly. If you are having problems, then check out the V3c/V3m forums, they're a very helpful and friendly place!
