Ming A1200 Increase FM Presets

From Guides

by amor238

You may need more preset FM radio channels while you are traveling from country to country. Here is the way to preset the number of FM radio stations.

fm_sel.jpg

store BBC at CH 101

fm_ch.jpg

The location of this file.
/ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_fmradio.cfg

[FLEX]
SearchStopLevel = 13
MinFreqSeperation = 100
HCC = 1
TotalStations = 30
Softmute = 0
BandLimitHigh = 108000
Deemphasis = 50
DefaultInjection = 0
SNC = 1
BandLimitLow = 87500

[SETTINGS]
ForceMono = 0
TuneMode = 1
Volume = 6
ByLoudSpeaker = 0
CurrentChannelIndex = 0
CurrentFreq = 87500

Open it and edit this line

TotalStations=30 ( factory setting )

fm_config.jpg

to replace "30" with "48" ( can be any digit subject to your need)

the more channels (TotalStations=1024 which I tested), it will take more time to load up .

Case 2:
If you need the FM range from 65.8~108MHz, then you need to change this parameter too.

BandLimitLow=87500 ( factory setting)
Change to
BandLimitLow=65800

Therefore, you will able to receive the signal for this range 65.8 MHz to 108 MHz.

International Standard covers 87.5 to 108 MHz.
The OIRT FM broadcast band covers 65.8 to 74 MHz.
The FM band in Japan is 76-90 MHz.
