Razr V3i Flashing-Flexing with RSD

From Guides

Flashing and flexing Motorola phones is how we update the software on the phones. A more in depth look at the differences between the software types will be up soon, but for now, let me simply explain the process of flashing/flexing.

What you will need. RSD Lite 2.1 or higher. This program is used to flash and flex Motorola phones. It is not a file we are legally allowed to host to, nor provide links to, as it is technically "vaporware", for use in Authorized Motorola Service Centers. However, if you search Google, it IS there. PLEASE do NOT email me letting me know "the link to RSD Lite is down" or ask "where can I find RSD Lite". The link goes straight to Google, and that is about the only place I can direct you to get that program.

Flash/flex file. Check out theV3i download section for flash and flex files. in this example, I will be using a DRM Icon set created by szyszyla, props go to him for the work!

For now, go find RSD Lite, download it and get installed, find the file you want to flash/flex with, and lets continue...

Once you have obtained all the needed files, go ahead and check out the Flash tutorial under this message to learn how to flash/flex your Slvr! A little bit of load time is expected... If you can't view Flash, go here to download the plugin for your browser.
