Razr v3 Adding or Removing languages

Here are few Thing on adding Language/s to an existing Language Pack:

Things you must have:

• Flashbackup
  
• SHXcodec

• Language/s (see list)

American Spanish
Brazilian Portuguese
Canadian French
Complex Chinese
Croatian
Czech
Danish
English
Estonian
Finnish
French
German
Hungarian
Italian
Latvian
Lithuanian
Norwegian
Polish
Portuguese
Russian
Spanish

Ukrainian
US English


Procedures:

a. Make an MP from your phone using Flashbackup.

§ First make a backup of your current MP.

§ Go to "create flash files" menu. Be sure to choose the right phone (e398 or e1).

§ Browse your created backup & write a name for your new MP. This would have an extension of *.shx.

b. Break/Split your created MP. § Run SHXcodec application & browse for your newly created MP.

§ Press 'split' menu. You will see CG (code groups)..

§ Delete all CGs but DO NOT include "RAMDLD.smg" & "CG4.smg"..

§ 'Edit' CG4.smg. press 'open langpack' button & press 'Add from file' button.

§ Choose the downloaded Russian.lng file. Then 'ok'.

§ Press the 'save langpack' button & save it. Now, press the 'Flash' button.

§ Press Flash button.. wait for some time.. don't try to move your phone.

§ When you see ".. power down!".. it's fine now..

Removing Languages:

• one can just simply unpack their backups or existing MPs
  
• edit the Langpack (CG4)
  
• removed unecessary languages (or even replaced them).. just see steps above..
  
  

Extracting Languages from Existing Langpacks:

• after splitting the shx file, edit the LangPack (cg4)
  
• select the language & press the 'save language'...
  
• browse to your directory & save. it must have the lng extention..
